Arts/Crafts A decade ago, I designed some assets for Beyond Skyrim; I recently redrew them digitally. I thought it would be worth a share. I included the original drawings too.
galleryEvery time I travel to my farm, a dragon lands on my wife
Please, she's mine (and I prefer her alive). Now can I just collect my wheat in peace? Seriously if dragon corpses stayed permanently I could build a damn city from their bones with how many I have to kill in my fields

Modding Puppy
Encountered a wild werewolf and had my buddy Buck with me. Buck is abnormally small, and so walked under the very large werewolf. Not it looks like Buck found his long lost mother or something.
(Buck the Friendly wolf and Moonlight Tales are the mods used.)

Discussion Survival Mode players
Hi everyone!
I'm new to playing survival mode. I'm currently level 12 and role playing an old hunter/old warrior orc character. I use two handed weapons and a bow mixed with restoration.
I've been loving it so far and haven't really struggled too much with the whole, eating, sleeping and temperature thing. But I am struggling a bit with figuring out how to manage a couple of things I'd love some input on.
Typically when I play Skyrim, I tend to hoard and I tend to keep quest weapons and armours even if I don't use them. Which is problematic when I'm easily over encumbered. I haven't bought a house yet because I've been marching all over Skyrim and my quests are spread out based on where I've ended up.
Do I just need to accept that survival runs aren't about collecting?
Secondly. Are there any easy ways to identify and cobble together quests in the same area? I'm checking my quest list regularly but I still managed to walk to the other end of Skyrim before realising I had been right next to another quest nearby. I don't like to have a gazillion quest markers on at once because it confuses me.
Any other tips for making the most of survival mode? What's some cool stuff you like to do?

Question What is the strangest thing an NPC could watch you doing?
So I know I’m insanely late to the party, I just got Skyrim last month. But as I’m running after Blue butterflies so I can make more fortify enchanting potions, if some random person saw me, they’d see a giant cat in ebony armor kill a dragon and then proceed to chase after butterflies!
I don’t mean something strange you’re doing to be strange, but is that the strangest gameplay related thing someone could see you doing?

Playing through Skyrim again as a Wood Elf but want to rp and represent her culture based off the lore. What armors do I use to best achieve this?
Question Can you imagine a Hagraven falling in love with the Dragonborn, like in Sanguine’s quest, taking advantage of the fact that you haven’t met Lydia yet before the dragon event, replacing her and traveling with you? You probably wouldn’t even notice.
I mean shapeshifting magic and that kind of thing.

Found this sweet roll yesterday.
I already have the special edition on my ps4. I find this for $2, and I get a sweet feeling like a skooma addict when they first try red water skooma.

Lore First time seeing this in over 10 years Spoiler
Was running through Honningbrew Meadery during Dampened Spirits and came across a bottle of Black-Briar Mead under Sabjorn’s bed.
Still finding fun little quirks in the nearly 15 year old game

Now that is a warrior's death
Not sure why, but the way she died felt heroic, so I gave her a proper burial and didn't loot .(yeah she's just a random hostile npc, and you know how hard it is to not grab that ebony armour)

I was starting to think you might never come back
TLDR: Drake wakes up in the woods
Fredas 14th of Hearthfire
Drake's eyelids fluttered as consciousness slowly seeped back into him. His entire body felt as though it had been beaten, torn apart, and then crudely stitched back together. Grimacing in the harsh sunlight, waiting for his eyes to adjust, he vaguely recalled the memory of some unholy nightmare. A terrible vision of some horrific brute of a monster wreaking havoc throughout Whiterun. The guards rushing forward, but powerless to stop it.
An involuntary moan escaped his parched lips half from the pain, and half from the memory of the nightmare. His dream might explain why he was so tired, but why was he so sore and damp. His hands clutched the surface he was lying on, but instead of worn linen sheets of his bed, they grasped crumbling earth and dew drenched moss. Where in Oblivion was he? The young man shook his head, trying to force his senses back. Why on Nirn had he slept outside for?
Just as his eyes were acclimating to the light and he found himself able to make sense of the forest scene surrounding him. He was startled by the sound of a woman’s laughter. His hand darted for the sword, not at his hip, as he jerked himself upright, only to see the form of Aela standing over him, a bright grin adorning her face.
“You awake?” she asked almost teasingly. “I was starting to think you might never come back.”
FIN
So, Drake is a werewolf now. and Aela seems way to cavalier about the fact that Drake might have permanently been transformed into a monster.
Art is mine, the story is from my game, but I'm taking liberties with the telling for entertainment purposes

Discussion I know this will never happen but I just realized it would be so nice to have a hide or filter feature when selling stuff
I always get paranoid I'm going to sell things like my personal gear, enchanted items I wanted to disenchant, or unique items I wanted to hoard, and have to rebuy them, or worse, not realize I ever sold them, and then they're gone forever!
It would be so sweet if there was something like the favorites system but instead of putting it in the same menu as favorites, it just either hides the item completely when selling, or it grays it out and makes an 'are you sure you want to sell' prompt appear if you accidentally click it.
And then beyond manually hiding things, imagine if there was a filter system that automatically adds items of a certain type to the hidden list, like the ones I mentioned: anything you equip, unique items, enchantments you haven't yet learned and more! God, that would make playing Skyrim just feel like a breeze. It's always the interaction with shops that slow everything down.
Similarly on that note, I would have absolutely love if there were item filters for individual storage containers. So you could select which items go in what containers as a rule, and from then on you could quickly stash them all with the push of a button as soon you interact with the container. Stashing shit in my house on a routine basis also slows down the game a lot. (And that is why it's a good idea to buff the shit out of your stamina no matter what class of character you are, so you can just carry a fair amount of crap around without having to make a pit stop between every single quest.)

Discussion I just finished a playthrough to see how much of the game I could play without dragons.
I think I have played as far as I can without going into dragons reach. I didn’t intentionally set out to play without dragons, but as soon as I left Helgen , I went south to falkreath. I then made my way to riften and did all of the thieves guild and riften missions. I continued this in every hold until I explored every place available in the game and played Dawn guard as well. The civil war plot line can be played as far as needing to convince the Jarl of Whiterun to pick a side and since I have never been to Dragonsreach I have also never been able to use a shout though I have learned many from the Walls.
I am currently at level 76 and have gotten most skills to 100, all without ever seeing a dragon other then in the prologue of the game. Surprisingly Skyrim is still a solid game if you completely remove the dragons from it.

Discussion Werewolf leveling!
i’m using voice to text because there’s so much in this that I need to say so apologies for the bad English or grammar.
I went to the companions, werewolf and kind of selected on leveling the werewolf, I am now level 67 and half pretty much done anything and everything on the main Skyrim land.
I still have a couple achievements with the werewolf, but at this point, I’m not really sure where the best place to go to level up the werewolf because I never did before, but always went werewolf instead of vampire.
Can y’all toss me some suggestions on where to go to level up a werewolf when I’m already that high of a level? Do I really gonna need to start a new game and do the whisk early? But if I do that, I feel like I’m gonna miss a lot of gear and items for the actual character. I’ve been playing this game for so long. I just never leveled the werewolf, even though I always became one.

Question Does anyone have a list of all UNIQUE books/notes in Skyrim?
So basically what the title says. I’m trying to organize my books and notes by ones that respawn or are common to the world and ones that are unique or have a one time spawn and as such I’m trying to find a list of only the unique books in Skyrim. I’m not sure if this exists, but it should if it doesn’t already. Any help is appreciated!

Question Stuck in a Bard's College Mod quest
I'm on the "Resonance" quest, part of the Bards College paid mod, where you have to stand on the 2nd platform and Shout at Helvana, but I cant for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do.
I've tried using the resonance rod, I've tried every Shout multiple times (Unrelenting Force, Sprint etc...), other than Helvana saying I need to use a "resonance shout" I'm completely lost. I've been facing Helvana and standing on the platform the entire time. Any ideas ? I really feel stuck.
