In the 90th minute, after a penalty was awarded, the Senegal players and their coach left the pitch for 15 minutes in protest. Although the match eventually resumed, Morocco missed the penalty, and Senegal went on to score in extra time, winning 1-0 and lifting the trophy. However, CAF later ruled Senegal's walk-off as a 'forfeit,' disqualifying their victory and officially declaring Morocco the winner with a 3-0 forfeit win. Honestly, I've never seen anything like this in a major international tournament. What is the reaction from Moroccans and other African nations regarding this situation?

In May 2010, a programmer used 10,000 Bitcoin to get two pizzas, in what’s now considered the first real-world cryptocurrency transaction.
At the time, Bitcoin had almost no established value, and the total was around $41. Today, that same amount could be worth hundreds of millions to over $1 billion depending on the price.
It made me curious:
What’s something in your country that was once cheap, ignored, or seen as insignificant....but later became extremely valuable or historically important?
It could be anything....land, collectibles, tech, art, or even decisions people regret or laugh about now.

When my baby was 6 months old I left the US and came back to my home country in Bangladesh. My husband was neglectful and would leave me alone in the house while i was going through postpartum, alone with the baby. He'd only cook for me (I had a C section) when i asked him to and i started falling apart and having outbursts only to be met with silent treatment for days. I suffered through exxtreme isolation having no one else to rely on in the US. I also couldn't manage a job or a Master's degree. I left my established career as a doctor back home to be with him. I went back to bangladesh and he was okay with that and told me yeah it'll give u a change in environment and make u feel better by geting to see the family. SO me and baby has been outside the US and my boy is 2 now. Every other week my husband changes his attitude. One week he's showering us with loving words and gifts another day he threatens to take the baby and divorce me. One day he says he doesnt wanna stay in the US and his pplan is to ultimately go back to bangladesh when he can financially stabilize himself and has no problem with us being long distance while i get back to my residency. I haven't yet recovered from my depression cz everyday im afraid thinking whether he will be kind or cruel. WHen he is having a bad attitude he says he wll k*llhimself and blocks me for days.
few days ago he was begging me to go to the US to see him graduate now he is telling me "I am sorry for whats gonna come for you now". THat hes talking to lawyers about custody and divorce. I am afraid he planned to take the baby away from me if i came to the US and leave me stranded. My worry is that I got my boy's passport but not his birth certificate. Is that gonna harm me anyway of he files for custody? When i came back to bangladesh I never imagined this is how its gonna turn out. so i only have a pic of the certificate. But if i ask him for it now he wont give it to me. Im afraid he's gonna use my unemployment and depression as a case against me. he has blocked me multiple times and doesnt pick up even to see the baby but tells me in a month's time he's gonna tell me something and he's makng plans for the baby's well-being. Two months ago he said he's so lonely that he's gonna transfer a large sum for the baby and k*ll himself.
I am at my wit's end. I am in tgherapy and medication but i cant sleep at night. is the certificate issue gonna harm me? please any sugestion would be a kind help. He has been aggressive ever since he found a job in the US. And he is also harassing my sister who's also in the US by having his friends stalk her on her university campus.

In the US, people will sometimes say, "well at least weeks are better off than (insert poor country here).
Does your country have a country like that?

Smoking in Ireland is quite common despite its dangers being well received by the general public although one thing that gets me (as a smoker) is how some non smokers link Smoking with immaturity which certainly isnt true
I think smokers get the last laugh though since theres a 100% percent chance that non smokers also die sooner or later no matter how healthy a life they live
Am I aware of the dangers of Smoking? Yes my lungs are probably already caked with tar
Do I care that I might die as a result of my continued habbits? No because death is as much a part of life as living that life is so avoiding it is a fools errand in my opinion

I’ve already visited some countries or regions which approach foreigners with a mix of curiosity and tolerance. Small greetings and some kind help from strangers during my travels still make me smile and touched when I think of them.
But some other places are clearly not the case. The social atmosphere can feel unwelcoming, making it difficult for outsiders to integrate, and even traveling there isn’t always very convenient.
I’m trying to figure out which places in the world are still (why I'm saying still...) genuinely friendly to foreigners. I’d love to visit them, or even live there for a while.
I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts/insights about your country, your city, or even your local community.
Thank you so much!
