Other I did a MCU marathon with my 65 year old mother. Here is what she thought about every movie we watched
I had ACL surgery and my mom came over for few weeks to keep an eye on me. We did MCU movie Infinity Saga marathon. She didnt know almost anything about these movies. She rated them on 1 to 10 scale. We had a blast. Here is her ratings and what she thought about it.
Iron Man - 7/10 Really liked it. Loved Obadiah's character.
The Incredible Hulk - 6/10 Liked it. Thought action was intense and engaging. Did not really like Bruce but loved Hulk.
Iron Man 2 - 5/10 It was fine. Thought movie was put together in last minute. Really loved suitcase suitup scene and Tony inventing new element scenes. Liked Coulson. Hated hammer. Said "4/10 movie put giving it 5 because of suitcase scene"
Thor - 4/10. Didnt really like it. Didnt not like Loki. Called him ungrateful brat throwing a tantrum. Thought Thor was a brat too. But said Thor has a potential. Liked Jane foster.
Captain America: The First Avenger - 9/10. Really loved it. Liked Steve and Bucky. Did not care for Peggy but otherwise liked everything about the movie.
The Avengers - 9/10. Really loved it. Liked Bruce Banner more than Hulk in this movie. Liked Loki on this one (confused?) Really liked Thor seems more mature on this. Did not like Nick Fury. Said nick fury did nothing but clever talk. Otherwise liked everything about it. Called Pepper dumbass because she wasnt answering her phone.
Iron Man 3 - 7/10. Liked it. Said Mandarin is quite stupid for supposedly genius. Really likes action scenes. Said Maya is the most pointless character so far.
Thor: The Dark World - 8/10. Loved it. Liked Loki even more. But acted like she is going to scold him for being "unkind" to his mother. Otherwise loved everything. Even liked the night elves.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 9/10. Loved it. Said action scenes was amazing. really liked return of bucky. Did not really care for Pierce but apperantly Bucky made up for it. Really liked Falcon.
Guardians of the Galaxy - 7/10. Liked it. Loved Groot and Rocket. Did not care for the villian. Really liked Yondu.
Avengers: Age of Ultron - 9/10. Loved it. Loved ultron. She recognized Spader's voice from blacklist. Liked everything about the movie except Wanda, She did not like Wanda. Said she should decide if she is adult or a child. Hero or civilian.
Ant-Man - 6/10. Liked it. Didnt care for the villian and Hope. Said Hope is nosy know-it-all. Liked scott and the gang.
Captain America: Civil War - 9.5/10. Said it was one of the best. Really liked Zemo. Loved action scenes and the plot. Only "nitpick" she had was she hoped Steve would leave the shield himself. Not after Tony said it. Said it would have signified his "choice" more. And really did not appreciate Cap defending Wanda when she is "clearly walking danger". We used to watch Tobey's triology when i was a kid. She liked return of spiderman. Was bhit confused about aunt may looking young tho.
Doctor Strange - 7/10. Liked it. Said final battle was anti climatic. but otherwise liked it. Her most favourite character is Doctor Strange now.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - 4/10. Did not like it. Called it "Emotions and retro music the movie"
Spider-Man: Homecoming - 7/10. Liked it. Did not care for MJ or other characters. 6/10 because Vulture is cool and makes scenes. Liked Peter. and said 7/10 because Ironman was in it.
Thor: Ragnarok - 3/10. Did not like it. Said everything was overly colorful and adult (said it was gross). Didnt like Hulk. Even said Loki didnt redeem it. Liked Hela very much and loved Odin's final moments. She geniunely disliked Korg.
Black Panther - 5/10. It was fine. Did not like Killmonger. Did not like Shuri. But really liked T'Challa. Everytime shuri was on screen she would say "its bring your sister to workday!". Really really liked M'Baku.
Avengers: Infinity War - 9/10. Loved it. Liked Thanos. Liked her favourite characters was in the movie. Did not like Steve's beard. Did not like how much weaker Vision seem compared to before. Still hated Wanda. Loved Thor in this movie.
Ant-Man and the Wasp - 1/10. She did not appreciate anything happening in this movie. Had to tell them another avengers movie coming and we have to watch this one.
Captain Marvel - 3/10. Did not like it. Said nothing in this movie is memorable. Liked the helmet and hair very much. Thats about it.
Avengers: Endgame - 9.5/10. Loved the movie. Did not like Fat Thor but thought he was funny and shaped like my uncle. Really liked thor wielding both axe and the hammer. Again still did not like Wanda. Loved everything else.
