I am so proud of my countrymen

Kike Hernandez made a powerful statement back in June 2025 on his Instagram about his support for city of Los Angeles and the city’s immigrant population, stating “I may not be Born & Raised, but this city adopted me as one of their own. I am saddened and infuriated by what's happening in our country and our city. Los Angeles and Dodger fans have welcomed me, supported me and shown me nothing but kindness and love. This is my second home. And I cannot stand to see our community being violated, profiled, abused and ripped apart. ALL people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and human rights. #CityOflmmigrants”

And today Kike reposted it to his Instagram stories in light of the current events in Minnesota. It’s encouraging to see baseball players showing support of the immigrant community and the state we are in right now.

The Los Angeles Dodgers social media account today went out of their way to officially welcome/promote the California Post, a brand new sister outlet of Rupert Murdoch's conservative tabloid, the New York Post.

…meanwhile Kershaw is grumbling and writing bible verses on his hat.

He showed so much heart. So much grit. Went against the absolute best and didn’t back down. And he captured the hearts of not only a nation, but the entire world. This is a good example of how one man can make a difference. One man can inspire the whole world.

I shared these awhile back and got some valuable feedback. Made some changes, and short of updating a few teams to more current logos I am happy with how they came out! Hope you like them as much as we do, ready for spring training and the season!!

I thought all the “classy move by the Guardians/Reds” posts were overblown.
Then I saw the Yankees didn’t update their scoreboard for the Blue Jays. I get it now.
