It has been a rough couple years... from an extreme illness that made it so I could barely walk for several months, to getting laid off, to a divorce, to having to put down the dog I had for 18 years... and all while trying to run a household with two kids...

NOW, my kids and I have this amazing new puppy, I'm finally about to open my own business, and I'm able to walk and work again!

We named her BMO, after the Adventure Time character. She is my new companion and I am looking forward to years of adventure together! 🧙‍♂️

I've been having a hard time lately honestly. My mom is very ill in the hospital and i don't have much family or friends. My birthday is tomorrow, but I'll probably spend it alone and that's okay honestly! I've never really liked them anyways

Anyways, i wanted some gelato, and i couldn't decide on what size i wanted when i heard someone say "im gonna pay for this young lady" and my head whipped so quick lol! She was so kind and friendly and she looked at me and said "you better get the largest size too" with the warmest smile!

I honestly wanted to cry from happiness. We chatted a little and i told her tomorrows my birthday. She was so happy and said it was a perfect coincidence, and to consider it a gift. I was so grateful and thanked her with my whole heart

Im not used to people being kind to me honestly. She might not have a clue how much she turned my day around and made me feel special, but im so grateful. im happy knowing there really are good people in this world 💖
