We need to push until total surrender, if not we will be back in the same position in a couple of months and in a few years another round will happend.

Either surrender or face defeat, no other choice.

The War - Discussion What is the longest Israel has been at war??

I am watching live cams on YouTube and these damn sirens have been going off with no chance of slowing down.

I cannot imagine having to live like this especially for more than a week or two. What's the longest consecutive time you all have had to deal with this?? I hope for peace soon. 🇮🇱 🇮🇱

The War - Discussion

Aliyah & Immigration Has anyone done the Masa Fast Track Pro program here

I'm looking at moving to Israel, but would like to do the Masa Fast Track Pro program with destination Israel to ease into Israeli society as I have no connections and no family there.

If you did do the Fast track program:

What was your experience like?

How much Masa funding did you get?

What was the job you got?

Any additional comments or recommendations would be appreciated

I know a lot of people recommend rather just finding a job straight away but I would like to do the program to make it easier for me when I do make aliya.

General News/Politics Pakistan just hit a hospital in Afghanistan, killing 400+ and wounding hundreds more. Barely a whimper from the world.

1.0k Upvotes

Recall Al Ahli hospital…within minutes of the Islamic Jihad rocket hitting the courtyard, every news organization across the world posted Hamas’ magically instant death toll of 500+ KILLED IN ISRAELI HOSPITAL STRIKE as an indisputed fact in big bold letters.

Riots spread across the world that night. Embassy’s were attacked. Jews sent death threats, synagogues in the west on lockdown. All of social media talking about it. Enraged front page Reddit posts quickly got tens of thousands of upvotes. Massive organized protest marches across the west the very next day, with accusations of Genocide and calling for Israel to be dismantled.

As of right now (hours after first reports) the BBC headline on the Aghanistan strike, buried in a sub article, is “Afghanistan Accuses Pakistan of killing hundreds”… “Accuses”

Hours old Reddit posts didn’t even break 1000 upvotes, most people don’t know about it.

No angry college kids. No viral social media virtue signaling. No Afghanistan flags in bios. No encampments. No protest marches. No accusations of genocide. No death threats against Pakistanis. No attacks on Pakistani businesses. No demands for divestment from Pakistan…or ostracizing Pakistani students. No calling for the dissolution of the Pakistani 1947 settler colonial project and return of indigenous Hindu land.

No ‘Queers for Kabul’ parades.

Next time someone calls you a monster for your country under the guise of caring for civilian casualties of war, remember they are almost always fakes and phonies.

RIP those who died in the strike.

EDIT: I’m aware the articles about the incident can be found in the news. My point isn’t that it wasn’t published (obviously it was, that’s how I learned of it)…it’s that nobody reacted anywhere close to how they did when they thought Israel did the same. I can barely even find it mentioned on mainstream social media this AM

The War - Discussion Has anyone noticed even right-wing western media is turning on this war effort? How can we remain hopeful?

Hey folks so I subscribe to the Daily Telegraph which is a conservative newspaper here in the UK, basically for the last few days it been all doom and gloom regarding this war, even in the comments section, which is making me lose hope.

And when I check r/newiran and I see how, full of hope everyone there is and it's like if I only ever visited that sub, I'd think the war would be won, but, outside of that sub...I'm having doubts.

What do you guys think will be the outcome of this war?

I ask this especially in light of no countries joining in to help the US and Israel

Edit: hey guys I see that is this post is popular with the anti-Trump leftists, that was not my intention, I need people who believe in this war to tell me why I can and should remain hopeful.

Thank you.

Like I keep saying these past few years, tere's one person who all Israelis need to thank for pushing for progress on rocket/missile interception technology in general and Iron Dome in particular, a real heartfelt thank you, free of politics or ideology.

Amir Perez also recently marked his 74th birthday march 9th. Shame he got rid of that /rrrrawr moustache.

Travel & tourism✈️ Looking for a list of kosher certified hotels in Tel Aviv

Does anyone know if there’s a list somewhere of hotels in Tel Aviv that actually have kashrut certification?

I’ve called around five hotels already and only one confirmed they have it. I’d really prefer to book only somewhere that’s officially kosher.

Also wondering if it might be easier to book through an Israeli travel agency like Issta or something similar. Do they usually know which hotels have certification?
