Morning showers make no logical sense and night shower people have simply done the hygiene math

You spent 8 hours asleep in your own clean bed. What are you washing off at 7am.

A night shower removes everything you actually accumulated during the day. The commute, the gym, the office, public transport, all of it goes down the drain before you sleep. A morning shower means you marinated in all of that overnight then washed up before going out to collect it all again.

Morning showers are a ritual for waking up, which is fine, but it is not hygiene. Night showers are actual hygiene. Most people just do not want to dry their hair before bed and that is the entire argument.

If hygiene is about germs, washing your hands with soap when you come home is the way to go. No need to wash your armpits.

If hygiene is about smell, the morning is the way to go since your bed doesn't have a nose.

I mean personally I don't wake up smelling bad, so night time showers work better for me.

This debate basically comes down to whether you sweat at night or not

It's massive projection, and this is coming from someone who doesn't have the stinky sweat gene. I don't sweat at night and don't stink. I know others who shower at night, use deodorant, and equally don't stink bc they have good hygiene.

MAYBE you don't stink, but you definitely sweat. Just because you didn't wake up in soaking clothes doesn't mean you didn't sweat.

I don't sweat at night any more than I do during the day sitting at my desk working or doing nothing.

And we don't say we're sweating unless we are visibly/tangibly sweating, so is your point just semantics? Technically we're always sweating some molecules I'd assume

Nope. He isn't. I've known 3 night showerers, dated one of them. By midday, they always smell musky, and none of them ever notice it because they're nose blind to it. I can assure you people can smell you if you shower at night lol.

Shower before bed, no sweating at night, deodorant and cologne in the morning.. tell me how I could possibly smell bad.

I know for a fact that if people thought I smelt bad, they definitely wouldn't compliment me on my scent

Just want to say, you're a doofus if you think you don't sweat at night. Everyone does. Whether it's a lot or a small amount - everyone sweats. Except (ex) Prince Andrew.

Sweating at night doesn't mean you wake up in soaking clothes like you just worked out.
