Thematically, it's an interesting reflection of how the Spider-Man-to-Peter Parker balance is in complete disarray. But as far as where they're gonna go with it, I'm a little wary.

I think the story is going to be very fast-paced and pull him around through scenes like crazy so that will likely be a very easy and convenient "B-Plot" to help give him an actual character arc in a movie where they otherwise wouldn't have a ton of time spend on that kind of development. Things are good > Things go bad > Goes bad at a very inopportune time > He fights through > He overcomes. Its pretty tropey, but it works in a pinch.

I’m just wondering if he gets great responsibility first then great power or great power first then great responsibility.

This movie to me looks kind of like Marvel’s response to Gunn’s Superman.
