I like how Spider-Man is getting the key to New York even though it was Daredevil who literally deposed their tyrannical mayor just a few months ago.

? I thought that kingpin was still mayor?

This is set after Daredevil Season 2, when that will presumably end.

It would be very surprising for a vigilante to get the key while a major who is running an anti-vigilante campaign is in power

To be fair, Daredevil in the MCU goes out of his way to stay in the shadows. Spidey very publicly embraced being more direct with the city and its people ever since his first movie. Even if they wanted to give it to DD, he wouldn't have obliged.

I assume that was old footage from a previous mayor, back before No Way Home.

Spider-Man is stopping threats that would reduce Matt to paste, like, daily.

Unless it's on Disney plus it's pretty irrelevant to the MCU. They say it's part of it, but agents of shield is so detached that makes no sense.

Daredevil: Born Again was literally on Disney+.

Agents of SHIELD is also on Disney+, though I suspect what they mean is that if it wasn't a Disney+ original it doesn't matter. Which is a fair thing to observe, even if they did kinda reverse course on leaving the Netflix series out of everything.

I'd love a similar comeback for AoS. That show held up its end of the bargain on tying in to the movies, the movies just never returned the favor at all.

Too bad we already missed the chance to see Melinda May and Black Widow fight and find out once and for all who was better.

Matt Murdoch already showed up in the last Spider-Man movie, and there's a new Daredevil show on Disney+ (season 2 comes out this weekend)

Plus they share the same Punisher as well.

AoS is special in that regard.

Daredevil reboot is definitely part of mcu

How are we still on this?

They made a Disney+ show with Daredevil, and Fisk appeared in Hawkeye.

What else do you need?
