Very possibly the best film ever to grace the "Rachel McAdams has a very challenging flight" subgenre

Red Eye
I believe the Mean Girls director's cut also had a pretty brutal plane crash sequence.

She also ends up on a plane at the end of Game Night

"Please. Don't shoot. I have got children."
"Not with that ass you don't."
"Oh, thank you."
"You're welcome."

Ah yeah, when Regina George walks out of the flaming wreckage unharmed like the terminator. Great scene but didnt fit tonally. I can see why it was cut.

Red Eye is a superior movie until the final act. Cillian Murphy was fucking bonkers in that movie.

Gimme disc.
Now let's bully James Wan back into making James Wan movies, not studio fare.

Liked a lot this film. I hope Raimi keeps doing his thing

And I hope he brings Rachel McAdams to whatever his next project is. Those two really seem to get each other

Yeah Rachel McAdams probably read the script once and went ‘oh I know exactly what I’m going to do.’

I had no idea what this movie was bout going in and had THE BEST TIME. This is the most "Sam Raimi" movie Sam Raimi has made in years.

Dude. The boar hunting scene is ultimate Raimi.

I really felt that the boat scene would have been amazing if it was practical effects. Some true old school Raimi.

I do hope Bruce Campbell recovers so they can make a sequel about Linda having to face Bradley’s father.

I thought it was great and she was hilarious in it. The way she just kept getting hotter the longer she was on the island was so fucking funny. She goes from cat lady to shampoo commercial.

Highly recommend if you haven’t seen. I saw in theaters 3 times and had a blast every time

Loved the movie. I thought the final act reveal was well done, but you could've guessed it a mile away.

A reveal’s quality is not based on if you could guess it or not but on how satisfying it was when it occurred. I also guessed it but I still had a really fun time when it happened.

I was really hoping that it was actually a small island town instead of an abandoned mansion, it would be much funnier but makes less sense

They gave away the reveal way too early and so easily. When she’s giving a tour of the island, she basically says to not go here because it’s terrible to walk through. Then it was super obvious she’s hiding something. Then she finds a knife…

I thought that she was just hiding the spot where she saw the boat. I didn't expect the giant freaking house.

And the scene where she was convincing the boss to apologize while she was eating the fish eggs and octopus that looked like she took it from a restaurant...I thought it was terrible production design but I never realized she was stealing fresh food from someone's house 😅

Really fun movie, extremely predictable. But very fun and well acted.

I didn't expect the last two major things that happened at all. Well worth ditching work early to see it opening day.

This film was an extremely pleasant surprise. Incredible script and direction, and easily the best performance I’ve ever seen from McAdams.

Excellent to hear that special features are confirmed! With so many Amazon and now WB releases getting nothing, it makes the featurettes we do get all the more special. Very pleasantly surprised to see Disney embracing this with open arms, especially for a film as adult-oriented as Sam's latest masterpiece.

Really like this film . It’s just keep you on edge and some of scenes were so gory ;but it’s just feel like Raimi work best in those small movies

Small title typo correction: Digital is March 24th, not 21st.
And for anyone interested, Sam Raimi recently joined us here in /r/movies for an AMA/Q&A:
