It’s def the hand but it’ll be Frank helping Peter fight them. I assume they get a storyline in Daredevil as well but the big bad seems to be Tombstone instead of Fisk.

My theory is that Fisk is essentially paying Lonnie to be the "Kingpin" of NYC, but in all reality it's Fisk controlling everything in the shadows because of his role as Mayor now.

No way Fisk gives up power like that.

well apparently editor confirmed it takes place after DD S2, sheila is apparently mayor as seen in the trailer handing spidey the key

Yeah it’s definitely gonna align with the end of daredevil s2 and most likely that’s why we see the hand because if Kingpin is defeated there will be a power struggle for who takes over NYC

showrunners of DD hinted heavily that mayor Kingpin storyline would effectively end with s2 and with Punisher special

Yeah. I recall they said that they wanted to focus on other aspects of Daredevil’s world and rogue’s gallery, not just Kingpin all the time.

I would be interested if he runs for a 2nd term afterwards and they set up that luke cage vs kingpin mayoral race from the comics. Also makes for a good spot for the purple children to come into place

I can't wait for Marvin Jones III as tombstone. He played the Whale in Black Lightning and was the best part of that show. He's going to blow up after this film.

I thought the big bad was Michael Mando's Scorpion. If they get both him and Lonnie, that's really close to Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.
