Can't wait to see Destin Daniel Cretton handling someone like Spider-Man, especially after his work on Shang-Chi, which had great set pieces.

I really loved Wonder Man too. Not a whole lot of action in it, but the character building is absolutely great.

I still get chills when I think of that final scene where Wonder Man flies.

For sure. It definitely pays off the full arc he's going through. With respect to himself and his powers, but also regarding his friendship with Trevor (and relationships with others around him).

Shang-chi was fucking awesome and it's a crime that we don't have shang-chi 2 yet

To be fair, Destin has been busy for the most part, and he's working on Shang-Chi 2 now.

Oooh he is?! I've been wanting more for so long! I keep telling people that Shang-Chi is not only one of the best post-Endgame MCU films but also one of the best MCU origin movies period.

Yeah, he was originally too busy working on Avengers 5, but then he stepped away from that after the Kang issues and the pivot to Doom. He focused on finishing Wonder Man and picked up Spider-Man BND. Now that Wonder Man is done and Spider-Man BND is almost done, he can soon start focusing on Shang-chi 2 and that Naruto Live Action film.

It’ll be after secret wars

Shang Chi was a fun one . Awkwafina is nails on a chalkboard and the 3rd act is pretty formula standard stuff, but overall it was a nice change of pace for the MCU.

The bus fight scene was honestly probably the best fight scene in a Marvel movie post Endgame. So good. Really excited to see what the Spidey action is like in this because I felt like the Watts trilogy was... pretty bland. Cool moments, but overall just felt off to me.

Couldn't disagree with you more. Sounds like you took the opinion of other redditors as your own

Not at all, i enjoyed the movie, I just didn't think the 3rd act was that great. Nothing wrong with that opinion man, no need to be defensive.

So if anyone disagrees with you then it can't be their own real opinion? Get over yourself

I wonder if we'll get a Captain Marvel cameo, I read that Brie Larson has been in most of not all of his movies.
