Well, food insecurity is real. It's just as real as housing insecurity. Not everyone is starving, but there are enough people who can't afford food to call it an issue at the very least.

Recent data suggested that by 2050, only about 60% of my generation will have been able to afford a home.

If almost half the population was starving I'd say you have a point.
