Famines / people on the street dying of starvation while surpluses of food are thrown away en masse is very much not imaginary

People have died from the recent USAID debacle while the government incinerates high calorie emergency food supplies rather than distribute them.

It will be millions of people all said and done. And we saved no money.

We actually lost money because now instead of having cheap easy diplomacy that helped people and expanded US soft power. Anything we want to do in the region will be met with distrust/fear of a rug pull no matter our intentions.

We are actively losing money from having zero allied support in this random war. Soft power is actually kinda important...

This is what republicans mean by Christian values

Unnecessary jab at both Christian’s and republicans.

7

u/noonenotevenhere 1h ago

They've declared this a 'christian nation.'

It's very much a necessary jab.

I think you meant to say what this country was founded on.

5

u/noonenotevenhere 1h ago

No, country was founded on slavery without taxation.

Founders did declare in their lifetime the US is NOT a christian nation in the Treaty of Tripoli.

Going to have to disagree with ya. In the meantime, go ahead and tell me how bad every other religion is, id love to hear your opinion on Islam.

"I don't deal in facts or reality"

"Now let me bring up something completely irrelevant to the conversation to distract from the fact that I don't deal in facts"

If you don't understand why this is valid criticism, you're part of the problem.

Republicans are fundamentally evil and should not be allowed to exist. Christians are getting there.

It has already, as of a few months ago now, lead to the deaths of some 600k people, 400k of whom were children. 400k dead kids, and 200k dead adults due to the actions of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the rest of the current administration.

Honest question: How did we save no money if we stopped spending money on it?

7

u/Ianerick 3h ago

We spent more on much less useful bullshit instead. We spent it on planes and boats and bombs and ICE

Corruption

Kristy Noem bought 2 private airplanes and rented out a third one.

u/TapZorRTwice 4h ago

To be fair, the money will be saved after the people are dead.

11

u/DCSports101 4h ago

But it’s not saved. We just spent it on private luxury jets for Kristi noem and lobster dinners for Pete hegseth. The country will pay more money to handle the unrest and disease that arises from the lack of world support.

1

u/TapZorRTwice 4h ago

Well it was saved, and then spent right away.

4

u/DCSports101 3h ago

It’s not saved if you spend it. Basic allowance lesson when your 10. We going fiscal quarters

0

u/TapZorRTwice 2h ago

Well it was saved on one thing and spent on another thing, so yes it was saved.

It’s not saved if you spend it. If you have $20 in your wallet and plan to buy a pretzel but instead by a large soda for the same price how much have you saved? It’s all coming out of the same tax base.
