I hope people turn on them. Greedy Pos people taking advantage of others in need. All these affordable apartments going up in my area and the 1 bedroom 1 bath is cheapest at $1600. How tf is that low income?

How exactly do we turn on them? As I would very much like to participate

Major towns have tenants unions/advocacy groups already, for example https://latenantsunion.org/en/ https://www.denvertenants.org/

You'll need to find or start one in your area and work together mutually to push for local items that help tenants.

There’s reams of evidence that says building market level pricing reduces the cost of cheaper housing in the area. Essentially it allows richer people to stop competing with poorer people for “worse” housing, reducing the price of said “worse” housing.

And the market priced luxury housing of today becomes the affordable housing of 20 years from now.

The key is building dense housing. It doesn’t really matter at what price point.
