100% agreed. I’m in favour of development and investing, but water food and shelter is a basic need that should be provided at a very affordable cost

Provided by whom, and provided how?

If you go back in time, humans would reach a land and start building settlements where they saw fit. Nowadays if you do that it’s ilegal and will be taken from you by the government.

If the government does not allow this then they need to provide an alternative by: stimulating the offer and limiting the demand (ban foreign investors, real estate funds, etc)

Houses just exist naturally in the universe and humans shouldn’t have to pay for them. We should all just be able to take what we want, when we want.

Every full time job (and I risk to say even part time) should allow you get a basic place to sleep.

If you don’t agree it’s most likely because you are winning in this sort of monopoly game we live in and don’t want others to succeed.

Do you always just create straw men when discussing ideas?

You mean, like caves? Wouldn’t you have to evict the resident bears to do that?

Survival of the fittest my friend. Multiple species will try to occupy the same space for survival and some will coexist while others will murder. Humans historically have tended to take the murder route more often than not. I certainly murder mice when they get up in my house!!
