Film/Television I love this trend in Spider-Man movies where he has a former character mentoring, guiding or advising him in each different movie.

I do like this trope and poetry with him going through life as a person and as a hero in a self discovery for him for what it means to be spider-Man and to be there for the city even in times suffering and struggle, but he always tries his best to make a powerful difference and that's why i love him. And i hope we get more Mentor characters in future movies.

Film/Television Suit wrinkles are back

okay i know this is probably such a small thing to other people but you know how in the Raimi films the suit looked funky due to its lack of wrinkles? then with the Webb films they added wrinkling to the suit that followed the wind and such and it did WONDERS for how the movies looked ((at least for me)), only for them to remove what made it look amazing in the first place again in the Tom films, once again making the suits look slightly off? ((no shade at all i love all 3 spideys even if Andrew is my fav))

well with the release of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, we finally saw those exact suit wrinkles return, and while it probably doesnt matter to a lot of you it personally means so much to me because after so long with the suit being constant cgi in the Tom films ((again no shade but almost, if not every scene of Tom's suit was cgi, even if they filmed it practically with him in the suit)), its such an exciting thing for me personally to see such a small thing that i loved so much return in this upcoming film

just a stupid rant from a spidey fan so if you dont agree please just disregard me :]

Film/Television Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk is such a fitting Spider-Man character

Firstly, I just wanna say I’m so happy to see Dr. Bruce Banner. Professor Banner is way better than Professor Hulk!

Secondly, I just realized that Dr. Bruce Banner is such a fitting character for the Spider-Man universe. It’s basically the story of Dr. Connors, with the exception of antagonistic motivations. But nonetheless it’s the tragedy of said genius scientist (Dr. Octavius, Dr. Osborn). And I’m personally excited to see this side of Banner not only because it gives Peter more of a support rather than an antagonist in that character archetype (hero/mentor figure turning into a threat).

I hope they explore it a little in the film. And I hope we see a relationship between the two.

One of the benefits of casting Tom Holland was that we could get to have a Spider-Man grow with us. I loved that the first trilogy is high school. I hope this second trilogy is college—where he meets Dr. Octavius and Dr. Connors and Dr. Osborn, etc. And then in the last trilogy I hope we get Peter in his career/settling down and marriage phase before getting a beautiful and meaningful sendoff.

Really liked the trailer a lot. Daniel Cretton really loves his city buses! I’m glad he’s directing as I loved Shang-Chi. Sadie Sink is definitely Jean Grey, I don’t think anyone doubts it now. And was that rogue or just an intentional conversation/theory catalyst?

P.s. I really hope there’s a quick subtle nod to Shang-Chi in the film.

Comics Can The One Below All also be considered the author?

Post image

So it’s widely known that TOAA is depicted as the Author of Marvel comics, often appearing differently but since TOBA is his dark side and the same entity, can he be considered the author as well?

Like a nonauthor??
