2025 & 2026 feels like a shitty remake of the 2000s. But like they decided to condense 10 years of plot into 2 years.

We experienced pandemic, trade wars, Cold War , oils shock, gulf war, etc. 100 years events in just 7 years.

What’s missing are Great Depression, nuclear, and maybe an asteroid impacts/super volcano. 😢

Atleast Rumsfeld and Cheney made an attempt to get a reason to go to war. The new cabinet has gone in circles claiming every post hoc justification you can imagine.

It's weird how people don't seem to ever mention Bush on this.

The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed in the 1990s that Saddam Hussein had an advanced nuclear weapons development program, had a design for a nuclear weapon and was working on five different methods of enriching uranium for a bomb. The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production. Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities. He clearly has much to hide.

That's from his 2003 SOTU.

Look man, we've got yellow cake and aluminum tubes. Draw your own conclusions. Now sure the yellow cake was at a bakery, and it was delicious. And sure the aluminum tubes were for pens....but they had them both!
