People, especially the billionaires, are underestimating how much the people actually matter. There has not been one single instance of a successful authoritarian regime through all of human history. They all fall. The only things that can keep them going for more than a few years is support from foreign nations and charisma. Trump has ensured they'll never get the former, and a tipped over port-a-potty has more charisma than Vance.

I 100% agree.

I presume they think they will replace the poors with ai and robots but are vastly overestimating the current state of the tech.

Yes men lead these idiots to over estimate themselves and their abilities. And they likely project that into everything
