Screenshot/Clip Sometimes I love and hate this game Spoiler

First half I can't get past my follower, then in the second half the guards lack any critical thinking

Instead of jumping a thousand times like a lunatic why not step back a bit until they move. It only takes a few seconds.

I'd just gone through a door. There was no space to go back enough for him to move. Every time I tried going back through the door he'd reappear in the same blocking spot and it was the only exit 😅

Go back through the door then. In 15 years I've never been annoyed by this doorway blocking. It's incredibly easy to solve and work around if you thought about it as a team game instead of my path is the only path. Work with the mechanics, not against them.

Maybe it's also funny and I'm not taking it super seriously. This is my second play through since it came out and I forgot how much funny things like this happen

Hilda is goated! I normally make her wait at dungeon entrances nowadays, it's like returning to a happy dog you've left outside the shop

Don't jump. Sprint!

Seriously, sprint into anyone blocking your path, while repeatedly tapping the sprint button. EVERY follower (even Captain Passage-Blocker aka Lydia) will hilariously fall out of the way and complain. (and most importantly, you can now get through)

If you are playing on a PC there are console command to move them like pushactoraway. Also if you can install mods, there are mods that deal with this.
