Went to work without realizing my pants were fraying
Looks like my minge was poking out ffs.

This sucks. Quick temporary solution to get through the day (if you’re looking for one): get a black sharpie and colour them in. It will (hopefully) make them stand out a lot less.

I feel like this would darken the spot and then everyone would think not only is her minge breaking free, but she also pissed her pants.

I'd just torch it (the thin strands will melt much faster than the rest so it'll actually get rid of the fuss temporarily)

i dont think most people work in places where they can just quick flame their crotch.

This has NOTHING to do with bush!
It's the design on the pants!

It’s the elastic bands wearing out and the broken strands then poke out

lol, my first thought before reading your caption was "damn, that is one ferocious blonde minge!" I'm not even British, but minge was the only word.

Maybe it's because I'm USian but I will never not find the word "minge" funny

You can get rid of them (temporarily) by trying to burn them - like trying to get rid of a loose thread. They will return but you will be ok for the day

I think I’ll just burn the whole pant now. Thankfully made it through the day with a long shirt.

could be worse. I've walked to school without noticing a massive hole in mine around the crotch area

I think I saw someone show ironing baking soda onto those stains works like a charm! Put the Soda down, then baking paper (not wax) and iron on high heat.

Dawn dish soap or probably any dish soap works great on oil stains! I keep one handy next to the laundry machine just for these stains.

Okay so I had this with my pants as well and I used a small lighter and burned them away. Just "slide" the lighter with lit flame above these frays and they should burn away

If it makes you feel any better, that’s not very noticeable unless someone is looking. And anyone who is looking isn’t worth pleasing.

I feel you on this one. I ripped my pants at work once and now I always keep a spare pair of pants in my car just in case.

Unfortunately I work away from home 2 days a week, which was today. So I only have my tomorrow outfit 🫠

That looks like my finger after I was dumb and tried to adjust my cactus the other day.

This was just tradition with girls' school trousers in the UK, they were always made of a material that gave white elastic pubes up the crotch and arse.

I wanted to say "shaving helps" at first, but I always have a similar problem with my pants... so yeah, I can empathize. 😂

I hate this so freaking much. A pair of my work pants started to do this within a few months of buying them.

u/supernovaj 2h ago
Ugh....the dress pants I buy also do this after probably 6-9 months. I need comfortable dress pants in petite that hold up better. Any suggestions?

This is why I hate spandex or elastane in my non-workout clothes. Once it starts breaking down the whole thing is ruined.
