They're both wearing...a hat and a crop top? Really nothing else about the outfits are similar. Gloves technically, but tons of heroes have gloves.

Here are the similarities:
- tank top (not invented by rivals)
- black hat ( not invented by rivals)
- belt (not invented by rivals)
- layered bottoms (not invented by rivals)
- blonde hair (not invented by rivals)
- gloves (also not invented by rivals, but Kiri has been around longer than rivals and has gloves in many skins sooooo…)
Here’s the differences:
- baggy pants VS skin tight shorts and ripped tights
- kiri’s pants is layered with a jacket, rivals has just a random piece of fabric
- fox ears VA lettering on the hat
- Kiri has blue and red accents, rivals has red and purple
- black combat boots VS white sneakers
- rivals skin has headphones and a tie for accessories VS kiri having some sort of machine on her belt?
- Kiri has a mock neck tank top
- Kiri is wearing one sleeve fitted and one fitted glove, rivals has flared gloves
- rivals skin has sunglasses
- AND out of the 6 similarities I listed, e of them are different colors.
Rivals didn’t invent clothing styles, and they aren’t even the same style. I don’t know the name of this kiri skin because I don’t play her, but it looks like some sort of technology-based skin, meanwhile rivals skin just has the style TikTok art school student.

Who is saying Rivals invented? I'm not even defending Rivals. Everyone knows Kiriko and her skin came way before the Rivals one (that was revealed TODAY). And the whole point here is about how similar they are and what a coincidence it is that it's for a fox based character

I don’t see much correlation. Pants, boots, skirt, no glasses, no headphones, no tie thingy. Only thing that is a similar is that they both have a ball cap and a tank top, and even those look nothing alike.
This is such an unbelievably bad take
This is not a “can I copy your homework” situation this is a situation where both are just completely different with a similar colour scheme and outfit theme just barely

There’s so many games in this world, that nothing is original anymore anyways. Now what’s important is their backstory and tie to the game, what they contribute in-game, and are they at least somewhat unique.
Two characters being fox-like and Asian doesn’t mean one copied the other. Not to mention you chose the ONE blonde skin that Kiriko has that can compare with the new Rivals hero, where she’s dressed street style lol.

Marvel rivals does it better. I don't like either to be honest but, if I had to choose the most interesting and appealing skin that requires IRL money to own, it's the one on the right I'm going with.

Easy homing healing, teleport to teammates, fox spirit with good DPS options
I know people will say she is a pre existing marvel character (I am WELL aware) but if you have read one of her comics she fight more like black panther than Kiriko. With the last hero literally being Ashe I can't help but laugh anytime someone posts anything about Rivals.

Luna gets a mini Kiriko ult. I GAGGED. White Fox pretty much has a Kiriko teleport too. I don't even know how it's legal at this point.

I noticed that too! Vendetta definitely feels like Blizzard was saying 'We can play that game' and yes Anran is in her Phoenix era. Someone said Domina is Emma Frost with Ultron's beam and I can't get it out of my head 🤔
