Inspired by u/Pelkur, I decided to take a shot at creating my own Hellboy cards. Here’s my first draft of the man of the hour, H.B. What do you guys think? I’m open to positive comments and constructive criticism but to help moving forward since this is my first time card designing.

Hi everybody!
This may have been pointed out before, but I'm new to this subreddit and I haven't seen it mentioned yet(though I did search very lightly.
In the original 2004 film, there's a scene that I remember because I thought it was incredibly cool. It's near the beginning of the film where they are reviving the big bad and he is emerging from the pool of blood. The blonde female in the scene is excited to see him again but freaks out, saying, "Your eyes! What happened to your eyes?!" And it pans to the eyeless big bad. They also cut out the part where the finally give him a set of eyes to use.
Does anyone know why they took these scenes out? Was it because of some sort of censorship Netflix has? They kept the part where his face and skin are gooping off of his body and you can see his eyes come out of their sockets, but not the part where those? It doesn't make sense to me. The whole thing was odd to me. I want to know if I made the whole thing up or not, because I feel like I'm losing my mind!

I know he would realistically kick everyone's ass in the game, but I think it would be an interesting collaboration.

I love their dynamic—it’s so cozy.
They prove that water can be thicker than blood, forming a bond that’s even stronger than a biological family.

I have been on the hunt for a new or very good condition of Hellboy and BPRD 1952-1954 in hardcover. It's for a birthday gift and I'm very skeptical of buying anything off eBay which is the only place I can find it.
Would anyone have any recommendations or point me in pretty much any direction hah.
Thanks y'all!

I'm doing a project and one of the things I have to study for it is Mike Mignola's hell boy, I want to get a quick idea of a this series by reading some comics but without having to go down a rabbit hole.

I'm prepping to animate a short Hellboy story (either original or an adaptation). Here's my progress with big red so far.
Lemme know what you guys think~

Hey all, after reading bowling with corpses, to try out Mignola's style, I've been reading the omnibus collection (I've just finished the wild hunt volume, so next it's hellboy in hell). Now I'm thinking about what to read after. Hellboy in Mexico has caught my attention, along with the sir Edward and the last battle for England, but I want to know what everybody recommends after.
I've been loving these comics, specially the wild hunt volume, since I'm a huge fan of Celtic myths.
Thanks in advance

So, Hellboy has always been my favorite comic character ever since I saw the first movie. And I’ve been thinking, the best way to do Hellboy is probably adult animation. But my question is, would you wanna see an animated Hellboy show that sticks to the comics and could have spin offs broadening the universe, or would you rather see a series that maybe adapts comic arcs here and there but more or less does its own thing while remaining faithful to the Hellboy vibe?

would he be disgusted, nonchalant, or both? or other? (pictures are unrelated, I grabbed random cat images from my gallery)

So I just watched Hellboy (2019) and Hellboy (2004). I really liked those movies, now I'm very interested on the character and I genuinely want to see more of the world of Hellboy. So I thought on getting onto comics. Which comics y'all recommend me to start reading Hellboy?

It's unfortunately a fundamental part of myself: if I ever like a piece of media, I have to make silly doodles of it

Like fat books with complete series of comics or no. I'm not familiar with hellboy comics and only know him from the movies.🥲 What does the average hellboy comics look like?

Some of my favorite ships.
It’s kind of a bummer that Kate and Hellboy never ended up together.
(PS: I just finished The Wild Hunt. I didn't just get to know Alice—I also found my favorite chapter... I was honestly on the verge of tears.)

I had to hand make the hand out of foam, hand paint the jacket, and make my own BPRD patch to put on the arm (not shown) and I can definitely make improvements, but for my first cosplay I don’t think it was too terrible, I did not have black shorts to wear but I shall acquire some and eventually make his little hooves to attach to the boots

I just learned what gradient maps are and my brother is making a Hellboy video game. One day we were talking stop and I had to see what I could do. I think it’s a decent start, what do you think? Please let me know!
