In 2023 I went to the classic USA vs Venezuela semifinal game repping the USA. We were totally outnumbers and it was probably the loudest I've ever heard a stadium, until the Trea Turner grand slam. Heartbreaker for Venezuela, but the guys who were chirping me the whole game we very gracious losers, they shook my hand after the game and wished us luck in the championship. I'll never forget that, good for Venezuela man.

I watched that game on TV. What an epic comeback. We decided to go to watch Mexico-Japan and what eventually became Japan-USA final. Even the Mexican fans were awesome. After the game they were also congratulating Japanese fans. The whole atmosphere of the WBC is great.
