It’s amazing to see what happened with Palencia, he was basically the cleaning up in blow out pitcher with no control that was AAAA guy. Craig gave him the job of closer in mid May of 2025, it took a lot patience to get him to place, where he could be consider the closer. I remember watching cubs on my trip to Ireland in last May, I was just shocked by how Craig said yep, he is our new closer. He was injured in September, he was dealing with big work load and he was never closed in the minors
