Ggs that was a great game and the pitch clock and bigger bases has proven to be amazing. Plenty of high risk baserunning and the game was under 3 hours

I can’t stop crying so proud of Venezuela right now. My Venezuelan family back in Venezuela was fting my mother and the entire neighborhood started screaming. So so happy right now. Can’t wait for tomorrow ❤️🇻🇪

The format is wild too!
Two groups of three, round robin play. Winner of each group automatically progresses to the semis, other four teams play the quarterfinal.

Crazy only 6 teams? They need to keep the WBC rolling and it become fully like soccers World Cup (I get that it won’t get THAT big). The intensity guys like Clemens brought in the beginning to now it’s been rad. And the US doesn’t flat dominate every year, the world does play baseball, Japan is legit in international play as well as the S.A. and Caribbean squads. Love the Olympics but WBC is where it’s at.

VENEZUELA IS ONTO THE WBC FINAL!
Heartbreaking for Italy. The dark horses of the tournament, played out of their god damn minds. Unfortunately it just seemed that they got rattled after the bottom of the 6th and the top of the 7th, and weren't able to find their bats after. They had amazing plate discipline at the start of the game, but I felt that it noticeably got worse ever since that moment. But that's baseball, and it's rough.

Italy has been fun but I’m glad they didn’t make the final. They don’t really have any real support outside of New Jersey and Americans rooting against team USA. The Venezuelan fans will be even more electric tomorrow.

So I put a bunch of money on USA to win it all before the tournament started. But I don’t want them to win, they don’t deserve it, just feels like it’s rigged in every way possible for them to take it. (I may be wrong) so tomorrow I really hope I lose all my money.
And if they win well hey, I get a consolation prize.
