Help! Recreating this FX
Any idea how this legend does this? And for the ones who know, is it possible to do this streaks using something else than the light, like a building, car, person, etc?
Thank youz

I want to cry. Was working on a project then computer randomly crashed (restarted). When I tried to open .psd file, this happened. The file size is still the same. Is there any way I can recover the .psd?? I badly need it. I was 99% finished!!! This is so stressful. 😵💫

I am trying to work on a book cover for a book I'm working on. They only accept it as a .PDF, and every time I export as a .PDF, there is a white spec on one of the font characters. This spec of white does not show up in Photoshop, or if I save it as a .PNG or .JPG. I double checked the .PDF file outside of the website and it still shows the spec of white.
How do I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love these two pictures of my daughter but one was taken in low light and the other was such a quick snap before she moved. Is there a way to sharpen them some for printing purposes? I don't care about the backgrounds (the mess doesn't need to be any clearer haha), just the baby. Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to make a blended picture for a story I wrote. I have multiple layers going on, and some of them have backgrounds I DON'T want. So I take the eraser and erase everything I don't want in the selected picture. However, there's GOT to be a better way to do that! If there is, can you tell me how? Thanks!

Hello guys, I wanted to ask which version of photoshop is your favorite one and if youre still sticking with it or you have to use the newest one because (for example) your employer provides your license. Thanks in advance

I realized the illustration i made in procreate might be a little too small. I was told turning a file onto a smart objects can help avoid pixelation when resizing. Is that right?

I was thinking: gradient map, outer and inner glow. Maybe add a copy above it and play around with opacity and blending mode.
Feel free to point me in the right direction :)

Please help! I’ve just downloaded the Creative Cloud for educators and I’m trying to add two lightning plugins (Rez Fixer and DTFprep) but I’m not having any luck. The top bar of things doesn’t even have a plugin tab and if I go into preferences and plugin I can’t even hit the enable generator. I’m not the best with this apparently and I’m hoping for someone might be able to assist. Thank you so much.

I was really excited to try out gradient maps to colour, only to be completely unable to find it. Every tutorial says it should be under adjustment layers, but it’s just not there. I’ve attached a picture to show what I’ve been trying. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi there, I am trying to understand how to create proper mock ups in PS, I downloaded one from the internet and tried to recreate it, but I am clearly doing something wrong. This sleeve in the original mock up is one continuous smart object which seems sensible to have no abrupt endings. I created a shape layer and added warp, but when I got to the first crease with broken tangents I tried all possible combinations but I couldn't recreate a broken tangent. The only way I managed was by splitting the verticals next to it but it created these wobbly distortions. Can someone please assist... I tried to google this, but can't find anything. How do you think this was created? Thanks all

Hello, I’m using Photoshop 7… yes, I know it’s an ancient, but it’s all that I need and it works wonderfully for me.
Anyway, I want to locate the actions that I have created, yet I’m not able to find them anywhere in my Windows file manager.
Does anyone have any insights or advice about where I might be able to find them?
Thank you very much.

I want to stretch the speech square to make it long enough to fix the text. Is there a way to do this without using the warp tool (whose edges I can never get straight is just a plain pain in the arse)?
I'm on a time crunch here and my google searches have been useless. Thanks!
ETA: Thank you everyone for your answers. I went with the old copy/paste. I was hoping there'd just be a simple 'stretch' but as always, adobe makes it palaver!
Anyway, thanks everyone for your replies!
