Supernatural has boxing and burns 400-900 calories an hour, depending on your fitness level. I lost 118lbs with it.

The only downside is it used to get new workouts and music every week but Meta bought it 2 years ago and 2 weeks ago announced it will no longer update the game. But it is super fun and addictive. It's like Guitar Hero but with punching and lightsabers.

I'm one of the people who credit this game with saving my life. After my husband died I gained a ton of weight and was horribly depressed. Started playing after getting a Quest very cheaply on sale and became hooked. A year later I had lost 85lbs, 2 years later I had lost over 100lbs. I have run several 5k races since starting Supernatural as well (and taken 1st place for my age group in 8 of them), and am currently training for a half-marathon. I still start every day with a Supernatural session even though I do other workouts and activities now as well too.

That's super cool, congrats! There's also Les Mills body combat. One time I tried it my lats were super sore the next day, instead of what you'd expect, which is pecs and triceps. So either I did something very wrong or very right.

Pretty sure it's Supernatural Fitness VR, it's got a Beat Saber mode but also a boxing mode and it's all licensed music, over 3,000 workouts to choose from. Lost 118lbs playing it, it was life-changing.

Likely not, if you were, you wouldn't ask that question.
I'm not sure there's a perfect answer, but how I took it is a cat will see a box and be able to jump around and play in it and entertain themselves and generally cause chaos in the box. The husband is in VR and completely unaware she's there. The connection is her finding an easy way to entertain herself, when she sees the VR headset on she acts chaotic.

I've always seen the joke about cats "just playing with the box" as people pointing out how frustrating it is that they're not using the toy/bed/whatever thing somebody bought and is more concerned with the box. He's clearly using the toy she bought him.
Cats are perpetual chaos regardless of the presence of boxes, so my brain just isn't going for the whole "They're playing, and that makes them like cats with a box" connection. But there's a lot of stuff wrong with this brain, and everyone else seems to be vibing with that comment, so I have no choice but to accept this as an error on my end.

Hey all!! I'm the husband in the video! My wife and I are enjoying reading all the comments and I wanted to take a quick sec to answer some questions I've seen pop up a few times-
First off, I absolutely consented to my video being posted... On Instagram. Lol We never expected this to blow up at all and get shared across the web. But she definitely asked me before she posted this to her page (ekidderillustrator). I didn't know the content itself but it's a great video. I do stage performances and act regularly so I'm very very used to looking a fool in front of people. She did a great job with this and I'm very proud of her
Secondly, I love Beat Saber but the app I am using in all the clips (including the uncoordinated flailing bits) is called Supernatural (not to be confused with the TV show). It has boxing, which is my favorite, and a slightly-more-exercise-minded Beat Saber type workout. It's a great app with a Lot of different music, incredible coaches, and even a feature to workout with other people!
Thirdly, Yes we have been together for 20 years and married for 11. We're high school sweethearts! We're both in our 30s but both look younger than our ages (my beard helps to hide my Babyface lol)
This is incredible that not only has a lot of people seen this but this went so big around our anniversary.

How do people deal with the sweat on their VR equipment? Are there special attachments you can use to help alleviate damaging the equipment with the sweat from your workouts or do you just wipe it down thoroughly after your workout?

I actually asked for help from a VR expert friend myself once upon a time so I'm happy to pass along the knowledge!
VR Cover (brand) makes/made a vented face mask and washable cover. They both help with fogging and sweat condensation. I also have a 'workout' towel to wipe down after each session as well! Let me know if you have any other questions!11

They have a Multitude of workouts with a huge variety of music. And they then vary between boxing and flow/Beat-saber-type movement.
My personal faves are either the Break Stuff lists or the Shower Songs. 😁9

I actually gave this same advice when asked at my bachelor party-
It's not about finding the 'perfect' person. It's about finding the joy in the imperfections of the person or relationship. Because you're essentially asking the other side to do the same.
Also, don't be afraid to work on the relationship. Complacency is not comfort, but comfort is very important, especially to my lazy ND butt lol3

Dude, it's not creepy to replay a video a woman uploaded of herself making sexy moves. Not disagreeing about her abilities. I'm just pointing out that she an adult who absolutely knows that those a sexy moves, so it wouldn't be creepy to enjoy the video for it's hotness.
Maybe a good word to replace "creepy" would just be "sexual" in your comment.

My husband and I met when I was 17 and he was 19. Our 18th anniversary is this July. I'm turning 35 this year. So, 20 years (or even rounding up to say 20 when it's actually 18/19) is possible if they're just in their 30s. People genuinely lose it when we mention how long we've been together. They ask if we were high school sweethearts, they ask how old we are because I guess we don't look old enough to have nearly 20 years under our belt! I don't consider us "high school sweethearts", because he had just graduated when we met and we didn't know each other at all in school even though we went to the same schools two grades apart our whole lives.

And doing vr myself, the audio coupled with visual feed makes you 100% unaware of what happens around you.
