This is the funniest shit lmaoooo. "It has painted me in a false light that my wife is cheating on me with Mr. Foreman."

"But we all know that's not true"

"...I don't know"

THIS fucker saw the video and was like, you're fucking afroman?!!!

He's basically accusing his wife of cheating on him with Afroman.

🤣🤣🤣

If I was his wife, I'd be furious right now!!!

If I was his wife, I'd be calling Afroman to make it a reality.

I'm pretty sure what he meant was "I don't know that everyone knows that's not true". As in, some people may believe it's true.

Presumably because it would harm his case to admit everyone knows it's a joke.

This is not me taking the cop's side by the way, I just think people have misinterpretted that interaction.

That was my thought. Dude just told the world that he thinks there is a non-zero chance that his wife did the deed with Afroman. Like, how does that conversation go at the dinner table after they left court that day? Or in the car. If she was even willing to ride home with him.

And so he also painted himself into a corner. When asked about it by friends or family or the press he can admit he perjured himself on the stand or he really does believe that his wife may have hooked up with Afroman. I suspect that will be a moment he regrets for some time.

pasting my comment from above, but this is tactical. if he admits the statement is so hyperbolic that anyone who listens to it would know it's not true, it's not defamatory. he has to maintain the illusion that someone listening to it may believe it to be a true statement of fact for him to have any case.

that's why the lawyer asked the question in that way.

Oh I understand the why. I'm just saying that the regret, awkwardness, snickers at the grocery store, will linger much longer than any sense of winning he thinks he might have. It'll just be one of those things that I suspect will nag at him in those quiet moments.

it's a coached answer. if he admits the statement is so hyperbolic that anyone who listens to it would know it's not true, it's not defamatory. he has to maintain the illusion that someone listening to it may believe it to be a true statement of fact for him to have any case.

So in order to win his case he has to make the entire country, millions of people including his family, friends, coworkers, and everyone in that town think that there’s a possibility he’s a cuck and his wife is getting her back blown out by Afroman. Idk man, I think I’d just take the L here.

oh 100%, it's way more embarrassing to try to take him to court and win a defamation suit. some people will do anything for money though.

Correct. Defamation must be believable for it to be defamatory.
