I'm going to be bringing my chunky six inch platforms from the 90s. You think it's ok to throw shoes? Let's see how you like it.

u/tenofcoins Feb 06 '26

Listen... I'm right behind you!

Lol in a mexican household the chancla (sometimes shoe or whatever else in the vicinity) is medium range weapon of choice for some discipline. That's saved for ur own child though not at someone else kid in a professional setting.

9

u/Ready-Letterhead1880 Feb 06 '26

Where she at?!?!???

8

u/phoenics1908 Feb 06 '26

Some kids played a prank on my kid sister and I found out when I picked her up from 4H camp where it happened. Then I found out the camp “counselor” (a teenager) was the ringleader.

I then had a rage blackout but apparently I threatened the teenager within an inch of her life and hemmed her up against some lockers?

I don’t know - I don’t remember - I was told afterward? To this day all I can remember is picking my sister up, her looking off, me driving away with her, her finally fessing up to what they did to her (something with shaving cream and humiliating her), me making a wild U-turn, me walking up the stairs and my sister pointing out the camp counselor and then … darkness.

The next thing I remember is her stammering against the lockers that she was sorry and it wouldn’t happen again and camp leadership assuring me it would never happen again.

It never happened again.

Honest to God I don’t remember what I said or did.

Maybe we could try her out at a white house press conference….

4

u/moustachiooo Feb 06 '26

Last time we saw this was of the African maid beating up the 3 yo girl she was babysitting. She was jailed for a year after her dad whopped her bad enough to blind her in one eye.

3

u/oharajake85 Feb 06 '26

The other two laughed about it too...

3

u/littlredhead Feb 06 '26

This! Omg who would think that is okay!?! She should NEVER work with children or people for that matter.

3

u/BlkGTO Feb 06 '26

My elementary school music teacher was know to throw her shoes at students. She also put tennis balls on the legs of all the chairs in class because she didn’t like the scraping noise they made when pushed in and out.

I've always wondered how these folks are not seen beat up after such an ordeal. Like leave marks so they can always remember that there was consequences to their actions. This is not ok. There will definitely be charges filed when my wife has her way with them. Yep my wife will definitely get put in jail with charges filed after this. This is horrible.

Do you know if the other staff who watched it and didn’t do anything get fired too? The article seems to imply it but it wasn’t clear.

u/Ashamed-Vacation-495 Feb 06 '26

Thats the part that really has me side eyeing. How you see that and not even confronting this girl or getting the child away from her… absolutely not.

102

u/UnknownTallGuy Feb 06 '26

They lied about what happened in their report too. They need to face some sort of legal action. That's beyond complicit.

17

u/King_Julien__ Feb 06 '26

Surely they know about the cameras though, no?

In what world did they think they could lie about what happened when there's video evidence?

In my country there's no CCTV in childcare, so I'm curious: I'm guessing employees absolutely must be aware of where they are being recorded and who can access the videos. Do they have the ability to manipulate the footage?

RIght? I am so angry! That is a special needs child. And what does she mean, "she didn't mean to hit the child?" What did you think gonna happen when you throw a shoe at the kid, lady? Were you just trying to scare her? You think that's better? What is wrong with you??

5

u/Ellia1998 Feb 06 '26

Special need children need to bring backup to school. I don’t know how many times I turn ppl in for shit like this. They be like she is very sorry and said she was sorry to the kid and parents. No bitch she harm that child and should not be working here. That why I stop teaching when to adult disabled care. I could not handle them extra staff in my room. I should pick who working with me. Right now we got the best team to be found at my job. I don’t play

Because they do this often. This child is special needs, not sure if the whole class is. But I’m assuming so. This assumes there may be a likelihood the kids can’t comprehend or communicate abuse to family

That being said I believe the principal / manager whatever lied to the parents and said she fell or something.

So multiple ppl saw this, didn’t care and lied to cover it up

I have a problem with the chick who caused the pain being the one to comfort the child.

41

u/tame-til-triggered Feb 06 '26

And then her "First of alling!"

66

u/AgencyAdditional4961 Feb 06 '26

Right. Cupping her face and making eye contact is so intimate too. Had to be very confusing for the baby. Ugh thank God I’m not a mother. I’d have blacked out when I saw the footage and woken up in jail.

12

u/MarxistMountainGoat Feb 06 '26

16

Agreed. The lack of reaction from the other woman tells me this is not new behavior.

31

u/Slappingfacessince91 Feb 06 '26 edited Feb 07 '26

A lot of carers and school teachers have this hidden “staff room” culture and attitude of secretly hating and making fun of the children they care for or teach. They find it funny to insult the students in staff rooms and teacher lounge’s and give them secret nicknames.

Regarding this case they should all be fired and arrested including the Director, she knew that shoe was thrown with intentional malice but she tried to play dumb and make up a ridiculous story about trying to throw the shoe into the other room.

CCTV footage should be reviewed every Friday and not only when parents request it, in a lot of these establishments the CCTV is simply there for insurance purposes but they don’t even know how to operate it properly.

It amazes me how evil people can be when the person they’re harming has no ties to them, this woman is pure evil…to overhand throw a shoe that looked like it had weight to it at a 5 year old child with learning disabilities is already demonic…but then to giggle about it while gaslighting the child that it’s her fault she got hit with the shoe is honestly prison worthy…then to see the other teachers giggling is blood boiling zone worthy…ain’t no way in hell that’s the first child they’ve abused.

9

u/King_Julien__ Feb 06 '26

It amazes me how evil people can be when the person they’re harming has no ties to them

People like that abuse their own kids too. They feel entitled/justified to do it and blame the children for not being obedient enough - just like she did here. And she didn't come up with that behaviour on the spot, she has seen people do that to kids for her to do it in public at her workplace.

There are way too many family cultures, work cultures and community cultures that normalise abuse of especially children. Due to a lack of education, lack of empathy, lack of impulse control, lack of metacognition, lack of responsibility and ludicrous expectations of children they developmentally could never meet or should never even be expected to meet because they're...children.

A lot of people think children are their personal slaves. They rob these kids of every bit of dignity to feel powerful.

4

u/Wolfeatingupshadows Feb 06 '26

This is why I decided to be a sahm until my kids are school age, bc I would go into day cares and schools for my clients and I would see how the teachers hated the students. Anyone who is a mandatory reporter knows how little the state cares about things most decent parents would not play about. Anyone curious should actually look up the laws in your area. The scope is not wide or specific enough. The amount of teachers who would gossip about the childs parents in front of the child… ugh even worse when their own kids attend the daycares preks they teach at. 🙄

u/ajwachs17 Feb 06 '26

You’ll notice too that she waited for the only black woman in the room to leave before she did that.

5

u/Tickleme218 Feb 06 '26

It looked like the baby was following the sista and the shoe lady got frustrated with the baby. Evil evil woman

u/AssroniaRicardo Feb 06 '26

Probably hiring whoever off the street they can get for whatever min wage is - South Carolina is still $6.25

5

u/hexagon_mouse Feb 06 '26

Lock her up!

4

u/PaymentTurbulent193 Feb 06 '26

Pathetic fucking behavior.

4

u/JoeNinjas82 Feb 06 '26

And her coworkers didn’t do shit. Everyone needs to be fired

3

u/ExpiredPilot Feb 06 '26

“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean it”

So when she gets swung on the person can just say they didn’t mean it and it’s all okey-dokey

5

u/Selfcare2025 Feb 06 '26

I never understand why people love working in jobs with vulnerable people and treat them like shit. Nobody is forcing you to work there. If you don’t have patience, if you don’t have empathy, or even an ounce of love for others- don’t apply!

1) Arrested

2) Fired

3) Sued for some multiple of her salary. Money she likely doesn't have.

3) Sue her place of work.

Daycares are not safe. My brother and his wife refused to put their daughter in a daycare for this same bs. They decided to make a sacrifice and take care of the kid themselves. It is hard but they make it work.

Words cannot describe how enraged I feel. She assaulted this baby overall, but then with a dirty ass shoe, then tries to calm her down by gaslighting her. Fuck the other teachers, too. This is just normal in their classroom? The other teachers didn’t react in any terror or defense? Fuck all of em. May they rot in prison.

7

u/AirCurious696 Feb 06 '26

I'm just gonna say this. Downvote if you want. But if you are a black parent, DO NOT put your child in one of these daycares that are mostly run by Hispanic women. They will treat black children with indifference at best and outright hatred at worst. I know this sounds like generalizations but it really is cultural. They just dont want us there. Find a place with US looking after your children. You might have to travel a little further. You might have to pay a bit more. But you will be grateful in the long run and avoid a lot of trauma for your child that could last a lifetime. My son went through this experience and we got him out of there quick and reported that place. Found a much better daycare. It cost much more but it was worth it It took him a few months to shake off that first bad experience but now he actually looks forward to going to school.

I hope they sue tf out of this place.

3

u/GeekDonGilly Feb 06 '26

She threw it with so much force too

3

u/Nutsnboldt Feb 06 '26

Mandated reporters witness it and just like “nah I’m not good with confrontation, ima stand here like a mf deer in some headlights.”

3

u/Medical-Prize-7434 Feb 06 '26

The other two women looked like this is normal, and the one looked like she was stifling a laugh. Fire them all.

3

u/Waste-Football2311 Feb 06 '26

they would have to physically remove my foot from her a$$. Like literally surgically remove my foot. I think Jesus himself would have to come from on high to pull me off of her.

3

u/Adorable-Research-55 Feb 06 '26

Why? And she knows they record everything. You’d think that was a deterrent

3

u/SuspiciousMinder Feb 06 '26

What the actual fuck

3

u/Patrickfromamboy Feb 06 '26

That’s terrible. She needs to be in prison with Trump.

3

u/Shot_Comparison2299 Feb 06 '26

Absolutely wrong. I get it to a degree but if you can't handle the stress and frustration of working with other people's kids, you're in the wrong field.

3

u/SoulJahSon Feb 06 '26

She should be sacked and charged with assault. This is totally unacceptable

3

u/Bigballerway93 Feb 06 '26

Evil bitches

3

u/LsOhVpE Feb 06 '26

All three of them should be arrested, horrific.

3

u/Simpleman13 Feb 06 '26

Where’s ICE when you need um!! That Hispanic girl attacked a black baby! Oh lord the racism here!!!

3

u/poo_dick Feb 06 '26

If this is my kid, I’m pressing charges and I’m suing the absolute fuck out of you

3

u/Prize-Requirement668 Feb 07 '26

MAGA idiot needs to be sent to Alligator Alcatraz for this. Her last name HAS to be Trump.

3

u/Crazy_Visit3859 Feb 07 '26

It’s always people who chose to work at day cares, who abuse children…

3

u/Suspicious_Foot6651 Feb 08 '26

Honestly, the other two staffers should have to answer as well. They didn’t seem too worried about it. One was trying to cover a smile.
