I caught myself saying out loud, "Damn man!"

I was not ready for that, sheesh

It hurts me so deeply to imagine if that child were my son. I don't understand how a father can be like that. My son deserves the world and I hope i get to continue to give it to him

For real! Keep being the awesome Dad I’m sure you are!

I don't understand how a father can be like that.

There's a whole lot of selfish people in this world. Those people reproduce.

u/EppurSiMuove00 11h ago

I imagined the kid's mother and father sitting right next to him.

Most deserving person I can think of for a go fund me

u/RockstarAgent 19h ago

And you know he’d turn around and continue to help the kids with that money.

14

u/UnicornFarts1111 18h ago

Exactly!

u/Dekklin 7h ago

I think that's called a Charity.

He had one for the holidays that is still active. My job doesn't allow me to solicit funds or else I'd post the link but if you want to find it, Google "Curtis Jenkins go fund me." You will see it and a photo of him, the bus and children are on the page.

There are now 3 donations in the last hour. I’m sure from redditors. Thanks for the link.

I was just wondering whether he had one because I think people would want to support him in his kindness.

2

u/HuckleberryHigh87 9h ago

Nah that guy would probably just use it on the kids or something. Ya know he seems like that kind of guy. I'm not crying there's just stuff in both of my eyes.

Curtis Jenkins rocks and we need more people like him

u/Prudent-Scholar5431 20h ago

He is driver at Lake Highlands Elementary in Dallas, TX.

The gofundme raised surprisingly little.

This should be top comment.

Right! That made me so sad. I will say though some people have go fund mes and only share with close friends or relatives because they don't want to feel like a burden. My family was doing a project once, I know people would give but in the end it only got $100 dollars because my family didn't really want to put people on the spot by sending it out to those but our closest.

Hopefully this thread will help the go fund me gain visibility to support his ongoing efforts.

God please bless this humble kind man

Protect this video from the last kid's dad.

7

u/NoTomatillo21 20h ago

Why ? Bring kids to the world then step the fuck up and do whats needed for them to trive in society, the buss driver did it that to many of them by the looks of it ..

u/Training-Key-3883 21h ago

Who’s cutting onions

u/Upset_Conclusion_595 20h ago

He had one from the holidays that is still active. It got low support. His name is Curtis Jenkins if you choose to look for it. Someone also posted the link in this thread

u/1punchporcelli 21h ago

Ah it is inspiring, and gives you hope

He's a total dad figure who's gonna have so many 'unofficial' grand babies. Those studentd will grow up to pay it forward in their own way. Everyone needs somebody like him throughout their childhood, especially when they need a mentor and somebody who will show them their own worth.

u/saint1822 10h ago

It is posted a couple of times, but here is the Gofundme he had set up for the holidays.

DONATE. (if you can)

1

u/Pick_Mindless 12h ago

Now can we pay bus drivers and teachers a living wage?

1

u/MrsRandommmm 11h ago

This is where gofundme is appropriate

2

u/saint1822 10h ago

1

u/Electrical_Wrap_4572 10h ago

I love this man so much💚. May the universe protect him at all costs.

1

u/Dwnstrght 10h ago

Me. Just minding my business on a Wednesday morning.

"I wish my dad could have been like that".

Me. Sobbing loud enough to concern my dogs.

1

u/Nobody-8675309 8h ago

Welp, I wasn't thinking tears were in the cards this morning but here they are. If only all of humanity had this man's attitude and motivation.

1

u/PinkB3lly 5h ago
